Current Skincare Routine
Is it ’cause its spring or what? Lately, I’ve been all about flowers, unconsciously bought this amazing rose extracted products that work perfectly together. Must confess that I like the Rosehip oil better than the other ones, but combining all of them brought a very natural beautiful glow to my skin. I use other products for cleaning and toning but these are the ones I’m currently using for moisture and hydration. I usually apply the oil first as a base, the face cream and last but not least the hydrating body mist.
Rosehip Oil – Out of a sudden this became my holy grail skincare product, this takes care of all my skincare needs and smells amaaazing. The one I have is from Measurable Difference, both the brand and the product are new to me, but I’m obsessed. Rosehip oil has antioxidants proprieties, is full of vitamins and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots, and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines. What I like the most is its anti-aging properties, and I am all about staying young forever. This oil is so powerful, it took me less than a week to start noticing huge improvements in my skin, I’ve never thought I would find an oil that could replace coconut oil but there I have it. How I use it: The oil is very very light, non-greasy at all, and the fact that it has a dropper makes it easier to use. I apply 3 to 4 drops on to my face and rub it in circular motions, sometimes I press it on to the skin but either way the oils absorbs really fast . You can also apply to your body, hair and scalp. Rating: 10 out of 10.
Rose Deep Hydration Face Cream – Thank you Fresh, I’m in love. My skin ranges from combination to oily but some days, specially if im not drinking enough water, it is just way too dry and this product delivers instant hydration without leaving the skin greasy, the formula is very lightweight, its hydropatches form a protective moisturizing veil to help attract and retain moisture, within 24 hours the skin gets more and more moisturized. Regarding the quality of the product I have no complains, I just wish the bottle was a little bigger, it smells amazing, it does the job though is a bit pricy. How I use it: Apply to face and neck. Rating: 9 out of 10.
Rose Hibiscus Hydrating Body Mist – This mist is a result of infused coconut water, scented with herbal extracts of rose and hibiscus. Super refreshing, it kinda wakes me up in the morning, of course smells roses, plus, it has some shimmer in it, which gives a dewy finish to the skin. Peabody & Paisley couldn’t be better, this is defenitely a product worth repurchasing. How I use it: Spray on to my face, either when it is completely clean, after moisturize it or even on top of the makeup. Sometimes I just apply to my face and neck throughout the day when the skin needs a boost of hydration, dries quickly and moisturizes the skin pretty well. Rating: 10 out of 10.
